Top Healthcare Companies Where Millennials Want to Work

A recent survey of more than 18,000 students, between the ages of 15 and 29, revealed that healthcare companies are some of the most sought-after employers for the millennial generation. 

According to the 2015 study from the National Society of High School Scholars, roughly 40 percent of the respondents expect to work in medicine or health-related fields.

Finn Partners surveyed 1,000 adults to understand the healthcare habits of young Americans.  Being a proud Millennial myself, I know the popular stigma related to my generation of adults ages 18-33.  People often associate Millennial’s with being non-committal, job hoppers who use the web to shop for everything from clothes to groceries and receive their news via social media.  These assumptions are mirrored in the results collected from the Finn Partners survey.

People always say it is never too early to start planning for your future, but when is the right time to make sure your loved ones have been planning for their own?  Being a Millennial myself, I’d like to think that my mother will be in perfect health forever, but there will be a day that I will need to start the conversation about her long-term care wishes.
